Ok so what has happened since last time I posted, I’ll list them out…
My Grandma died, had her memorial on the 29th.
Started grade 9/10.
Went to Cadet Camp for three weeks.
Fixed my bike.
Got two guinea pigs, Merry and Pippin (lord of the rings).
Um…. Started watching Big Brother Season 12. (I want Hayden to win!)
And I think that’s about it for now….
So give me your Idea’s in a comment and I’ll see what I can do! It can be anything, reviewing, a Journal, an advise site, whatever!

Triple Threat “Diet” Cookies!
Hello everyone!
Well yesterday I made my signature cookie recipe for the first time! When I got the recipe it didn’t even have a name yet and when I read the recipe I thought It really threatens your diet!and that’s how it got its name! So everyone introducing my famous….or soon to be…Triple Threat “diet” cookies!
AS you can see the cookies on top are a bit burnt, that’s because it was my first try. The rest are light and white and look a bit like mashed potatoes! My cookies taste like….hm…..sweet nothingness! They are so light and smooth they melt completely in your mouth! I have to give credit to Miss Angie, a friend of the family (and my “advisor” on making these cookies!) for giving me this AMAZING recipe and I’m hoping one day you’ll get to try them too!
Talk to everyone later!
Bye!
Theme of the day: Close-up spring growing.
Hello everyone!
Today my theme is close-up nature. My sister and I went out a saw all the plants and flowers growing and thought it would be a good day to have a close-up theme. Here’s what we saw!
Our favorite picture out of those three is the second one. It shows great detail and the color is amazing!
Hope to see you all soon!
Bye!
Who will fly? (kite experament)
Hello everyone!!
A few days ago (I forgot to post it!) me and my siblings did an experiment with kites. We made two kites both the same way only one we made the sticks thinner..here’s what we did!
(Here’s the tools we used….newspaper, tape, string, and the instructions that we found online.)
(Step one-we took two pieces of newspaper and lay them on top of each other, then we rolled them up VERY tightly to create a tube for the bracing.)
(Step one contiued…)
Continue this till you have two sticks like below.
(please note- the sticks need to be MUCH tighter!)
(Step 2- tie, using the string, the two sticks together to form a cross)
(You should now be able to shake the cross and it should not move. Step 3- cut a small slit on all the ends of the cross.)
(This will create a slit for the string to go in to make a frame.)
(The border should be tight but not tight enough to bend the sticks. When your done tie a knot to connect them and create your frame. Your frame should look like this..)
(Step 4- now lay a new piece of paper down and lay your kite down on top, take a pair of scissors and cut a frame leaving a inch border around it.)
(Step 5- Bend the cut newpaper so its folded over the string and tape it down, do this all the way around the kite like this…)
You will now have your finished produce! Add a string to it and a tail and watch it fly! On of our kites was to heavy and the other was to thin and it bent in the wind but if you take your time and build it properly you’ll have a cool kite made out of…here’s the best part….RECYCLING!!!!!!
(Us with one of our kites….)
Hope you enjoy it!!!
Thanks for visiting and hope to see you again soon!
Bye!!!
Seeing in a New Light
Hello everyone!
My rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, passed away late last night….his problems started last Friday when we found him in his cage half dead. We started giving him water and trying to feed him but nothing worked, he took a bit here and there till Sunday. Then we thought about giving him lettuce (duh!) and he started to eat more but still not enough…
On Monday we started calling vets but none in a two hour radius took rabbits. Then we got a call back from one of the previous vets, they said that we should call some vets near Manotick, so we did. They listened to our description of Ben and told us he had a disease like the kennel cough and he would die in the next few hours. So I put him in a blanket and held him everywhere I went, two days past and he was still here. My mom told me I had to go to my drama because they were counting on me to be there (as I’m the narrator) so I went leaving Ben at home to rest.
On the way my mom thought that we should talk to the vets in Valley Field, and we headed there…They said that we should go to the vets in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Those vets said that we should give him a special food supplement called Critical Care .
So after drama we went home with my dad (my mom had gone home to give Ben the supplement) and we found mom covered in liquid from head to toe….the liquid fortunately smelled like black liquorice and was the supplement for Ben, He had devoured it! So we kept giving him this…
The next day Ben had FINALLY got a appointment with the vets, only problem was it was in Vaudreuil-Dorion….a 45 minute drive away. When we got there we brought him in and the vet started to examine him….It wasn’t looking good. The vet said that he was VERY dehydrated and Very sick (not like we didn”t know..) We talked with her for a while and then we decided to let them take him and treat him for the day….when he got home he was very drowse from the pain killers and medicine the vets had to give him…. The last thing I did to him was lean down and kiss him right on his nose.
Thanks for reading and Hope to see you again some other day when I’m not sad…..
